Frequently
Asked
Questions

What should I bring to the conference?

In addition to a friendly smile and an openness to learn, kindly bring your ID/ticket or a print out or mobile screen version of your ticket. And if you'll pick up your ticket during the event, kindly bring your ID for validation. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a notebook for jotting down notes and ideas! You’ll never know when that eureka-moment will strike next so be prepared

What should I expect from TYPE LAB MNL?

Your ticket provides you admission to a 2-day type-fest featuring 8 talks from some of your favorite letterers, calligraphers and designers! Hoarders are also in for a treat with the line-up of shops selling type goodies for every type-nerd’s need. A type exhibit will also be up on display to inspire goers in pursuing their type-adventures. Be ready for hours and hours of doodling, scribbling and lettering to your heart’s content. We have a first come, first served policy for seats so we suggest you go there on time.

Where can I pick up my conference badge and materials?

Our crew will happily welcome you at the registration area! Kits will be distributed there.

What time will the doors open for registration?

During the conference, the registration desk will be open by 9 a.m. If you’re running a bit late, don’t worry, we will still accommodate you upon your entrance, granted that you already have tickets or if we still have available seats.

I will be unable to attend the conference last minute, can I get a refund? Or, can I give my ticket to someone else?

In the event that you can’t attend, we will only offer 50% refund of the ticket price. However, no refunds will be entertained after June 19, 2015. From this point on, all purchased tickets are non-refundable and are considered sold.

Absence from the conference does not entitle you to reimbursement of the admission fee. If you’re feeling generous, feel free to give your slot/ticket to a friend! It’s a sure fire way to get on Santa’s Nice list for Christmas.

Will you be selling tickets on the event day? Will you accept walk-in attendees?

It depends - if there are still available seats, then yes. If we haven’t reached our maximum seating capacity, then we’d be more than happy to accommodate walk-in attendees. But to be on the safe side, please buy in advance to secure a seat.

Will there be single day tickets available?

Nope. Sorry. Type Lab Mnl only offers 2-day passes. But why wouldn’t you want to attend both days anyway? It’s going to be super fun!
